Poppy's body is made of 100% Polyester yarn that has the texture of Chenille. This is a very soft bear. Poppy is perfect for comfort as well as decoration. But once you hold Poppy in your arms, that is where she will always be. Poppy's eyelashes are made of 100% Cotton. Although both fibers are easy to clean, it is not recommended that you put Poppy in the washer machine. Hand/spot cleaning is recommended for Poppy only. Please do not put her in the dryer, as she is afraid of the dark and high temperatures.
Just like most toys, Poppy does contain two smaller parts: Her eyes. Although I use safety eyes and secure them properly, there is always the risk of children getting them loose. Although this is a rare occurrence, please monitor small children when playing with Poppy. If these eyes do happen to come loose, they do pose a choking hazard.
